Software Design and Engineering

A very tiring week. Our professor didn't meet us this week but he did give us a task that we must do our testing process in our application but as of the moment we are currently in our application development. We are finalizing our designs and fixing our front end and back ends as a group. With this we are hoping that we can finish everything by next week so that we can start our testing of our application. The team is still full of hopes and dreams that we will be able to finish the 70% of the application so we can present it in the deadline. Though we are having a hard time in coding due to the busy schedule we hope and pray that we can finish it by the deadline. 

     It was a cloudy afternoon. We we're late to enter the classroom as the last class extended for almost 15 minutes. When we got in to the room our professor automatically checked the attendance. After he checked we we're teased of a quiz. There were no rebus puzzles today so we jump right into the discussion.       We discussed about Testing the program where it helps identifying defects of the program. The lesson that struck me the most is that the difference between Mistake and Error and Failure where mistake is it shows up later and an error is a mistake done by the developer and failure is the program isn't function as it is intended to be.  A very tiring day it was. A Tuesday afternoon where everyone was nervous as it is a day where there will be a quiz. "I have no answer". I am tearing up answering the quiz as it was the time where I suffered memory block. And I can't blame it to others and solely blamed it o my self. I was hard on myself that day and forced it to my limits where I really need a nap and after I took a nap it seems like I just couldn't remember all the lessons I studied. I also wasn't mentally and physically prepared in answering the quiz and that is why i did horribly.  All I can do now is to learn from this mistake and do better the next quiz and in this subject. And be good to myself. We also did an on the spot F2F meeting with the group as one of my member celebrated his 21st Birthday. We discussed about the coding of the application and also the software application that it will be a good help to us. We also discussed about the revisions that we must do in the manuscript. 

     It is a Tuesday afternoon where everyone was catching their breaths as the elevator was out of service. Everyone used the stairs to get to our classroom which was the 7th floor of the CEA building. When our professor came everyone got inside to the classroom and the professor immediately checked the attendance. Everyone got scared when our professor told us that we will have a quiz. Everyone was not prepared so the professor continued his class.          The class stared once again with the rebus puzzles the professor prepared. Everyone was very participative, including one of my classmate being able to answer most puzzle.       The last week of August was a very eventful week in the City of Golden Friendship. As it celebrates the feist of its saint, Saint Augustine. Classes we're postponed from Monday as it is the celebration of the National Heroes Day and from Tuesday and Wednesday we're postponed due to the city festivities.      It was in the August of 28 evening where our group decided to do a meeting to do the activity out professor told us to do. It was the activity 1 which is to answer the chapter 3.4 in the manuscript and also to do the revisions in the other chapters in the paper.      The said meeting was a success as we were able to divide our tasks as a group. We were able to divide the parts of the manuscript that needs to be revised. And thankfully we are able to finish the revisions by Septermber 1.
