18th Week: PIT presentation

    First and foremost I want to thank our Professor sir Engr Carl Angelo Suasola for giving us the opportunity to learn and work under his guidance. He also gave everyone a Final exam exemption for both of his subjects which really helped everyone. We are all thankful and grateful for this opportunity and we will not forget this opportunity and his kindness.      Its been a long grueling week for each and everyone of us. Back to back exams and back to back PIT presentations. It was a hard fought battle to strive to be a Computer Engineer. Everyone strived and worked hard.      Though our group weren't able to present on Dec 21 we will be twice as prepared as we can possibly be and we will do our best for the next presentation on January and hope to pass the subject.

17th Week: Quiz 2 FInals

      It was an afternoon where we held out 2nd and Final quiz for the SDE subject. It was a hard ang long test where I answered some of it forgot some answers. After our quiz or professor gave a speech about how we treated the subject and yes we also do enjoy this subject. We did a lot of mistakes and learned a lot. We laugh a lot and made unforgettable memories together. The bond that brought to us by this subject especially the group activities every after class which made us showcase our pure skills in understanding and dissecting problems and making solutions for those problems. As we are through this subject this semester we all hope that everyone will pass and will be able to submit a fully functional system.

16th week: Data Mining

    Our topic for the day was about data mining. Where we discovered how companies know what we like at the moment and suggests related products to us. Data Mining is can also be use to identify the problem, transform the data into information, and then we Act on the information, and Measure the results. Overall the topic was full of machine learning and how does data mining work and its uses.      After our discussion we had an activity where we are given a scenario and we must analyze the scenario and answer the 10 questions. I was the one to answer question number 3 and 4 of 2. Opportunities and Risks and helped in question number 5.

15th week: Quiz

    It was a cold afternoon where everyone was nervous about the quiz. When our professor came the class settled in their seats and after everyone was settled our professor checked the attendance. Once the attendance was finished we started the quiz right away. It was a short quiz and I answered some of it though I'm pretty sure about the answers I answered in most of the questions. As it is only a 10 minute quiz, we were dismissed early and everyone go home.

14th week: API

      A tuesday back again at class. The class started with our professor calling us for attendance and after he started our discussion about API.     We discussed about API. We started with the lessons with the questions:  What is an API?, Why are APIs important?, How do APIs work? and then we proceeded to the protocols. We also learned how to To make a valid HTTP request which are the  URL, Method, List of Headers, and Body. We are also able to differentiate XML and JSON. And we also tackled a key component of API which is authentication. And how do we design API. We were also given API examples. The discussion went smoothly as most of us know API already since it was used for the app development. After our discussion we got straight into a 10 question multiple choice seatwork which was fun to answer and I hope I got a lot of answers correctly.    After the short seatwork, we proceed to a group seatwork in which we have 4 groups again....

13th week: Software Reliability and Quality Management

    A tuesday afternoon where we are back at the class. The class started with a seatwork 10 items. I wasn't prepared but I have read the module last week so hopefully I got some of the answers right.    After our seatwork we started our class immediately where we tackled about  Quality. How and why  quality important? Software quality management and its approach. We also discussed about SQA or Software Quality Assurance, the ISO family and USTP is an ISO verified organization, CMM in which it has 5 levels we can use to improve our system, and lastly Software Reliability in which we can measure how reliable and how our software is designed. My unforgettable lesson there was the 5s which was  Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. 12th week: App development

    For the whole week we just continued to fix errors in the app. Its a whole week of fixing the back end and front end. And there is progress made. Its just that its still not enough since developing an app for the first time with no background of developing an app and also a background of the kotlin language is giving us a hard time. The backend is really giving us a hard time.
